Beautiful set of six vintage blue I-lasi drinking glasses designed by renowned Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala.
The glasses are from Sarpaneva's iconic I-lasi / i-114 series, known for its simple cylindrical form, clean lines and beautiful translucent colours. The rich blue glass gives the set a distinctly Scandinavian character and makes these glasses both practical tableware and attractive vintage design objects.
The i-114 was designed by Timo Sarpaneva and produced by Iittala from 1959 to 1970. Contemporary Finnish vintage dealers identify the blue 15 cl glasses by the i-114 model designation.
