A beautiful set of six vintage Fennia liqueur glasses, designed by renowned Finnish designer Kaj Franck and produced by Nuutajärvi in Finland.
The Fennia series is one of Kaj Franck's classic Finnish glassware designs, originally designed in 1951 and produced during the mid-20th century. The series is characterised by its elegant, functional forms and distinctive line-cut decoration, which catches and reflects the light beautifully. Sources document Fennia production into the 1960s/around 1970.
These glasses have a particularly elegant stemmed silhouette, with a clear glass bowl and finely cut vertical lines around the lower section. They are ideal as liqueur, dessert wine, aperitif or small serving glasses, and would also make a beautiful addition to a collection of classic Finnish glassware.
