Beautiful vintage Arabia Finland Kielo wall plate, designed by Finnish designer Toivo G. Utriainen as part of Arabia's Maakuntakukat series.
This elegant octagonal ceramic wall plate features Kielo (Lily of the Valley / Convallaria majalis), Finland's national flower. The delicate white bell-shaped flowers and lush green leaves are illustrated against a soft Finnish landscape in shades of blue and green.
The plate belongs to the Maakuntakukat (Finnish Regional Flowers) series, designed in 1993. The series consists of 15 different Finnish regional flowers, in addition to Finland's national flower, the lily of the valley.
Its distinctive octagonal shape and botanical illustration make it a beautiful example of Finnish vintage ceramic design. It works especially well as Scandinavian wall decor, Nordic botanical decor, Finnish design collection piece, or as part of a gallery wall.
The original hanging cord is present on the reverse.
