Arabia Pihlaja Wall Plate 15cm, Rowan Berry, North Savo Flower, Toivo G Utriainen

Beautiful vintage Arabia Pihlaja wall plate, featuring the rowan tree and its red berries, the provincial flower of North Savo (Pohjois-Savo), Finland.

This octagonal decorative plate is part of Arabia's Maakuntakukat (Provincial Flowers) series, designed by Finnish designer Toivo G. Utriainen in 1993. The series celebrates Finland's regional flowers and plants through colorful nature-inspired illustrations.

The design features a detailed rowan branch with clusters of bright red berries and autumn-colored leaves against a soft blue Finnish landscape. The combination of red, green, yellow and blue gives the plate a beautiful nostalgic Scandinavian character.
