A beautiful green and blue-toned Tavitar (Female Common Teal) glass bird designed by renowned Finnish glass artist Oiva Toikka.
Tavitar belongs to Toikka's iconic Birds by Toikka collection. The model was introduced in 1999 and was produced during the 1999–2009 period. This particular example is signed on the underside with “O. Toikka Nuutajärvi.”
The bird features a beautifully layered, wave-like pattern in shades of green, blue and darker tones, with a distinctive translucent blue-green head. The decorative surface gives the glass a rich and dimensional appearance, especially when viewed in natural light.
