A beautiful and highly decorative Humppila Tokka glass bowl, designed by renowned Finnish designer Tauno Wirkkala in 1972.
The Tokka bowl is part of Wirkkala's Kalevala series, an organic collection inspired by forms found in Finnish nature. This striking bowl features a sculptural, flower-like form with radiating fluted sections, a richly textured center and warm amber and brown tones.
The glass is beautifully translucent, allowing light to pass through the bowl and creating a warm golden glow. Its dramatic sculptural shape makes it equally suitable as a decorative art-glass object or as a statement serving bowl.
The bowl carries the Humppila / Finland mark visible in the photographs.
