A beautiful set of four vintage Iittala Kapteenin lasi glasses, designed by renowned Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala in 1963.
These small 4 cl glasses are part of the classic Kapteenin lasi (Captain’s Glass) series and feature Wirkkala’s distinctive minimalist design, with clear mould-blown glass, a substantial rounded base and a characteristic raised detail in the lower part of the bowl.
Their compact size makes them particularly suitable as schnapps, liqueur or aperitif glasses. They are also a lovely addition to a Scandinavian vintage glassware collection and make an elegant retro table setting.
