Nanny Still (1926–2009) was one of Finland’s most distinctive glass designers, celebrated for her bold use of color, expressive forms and ability to transform functional household objects into sculptural design pieces.
During its development, the Flindari series was initially called Latotanssit, meaning “Barn Dance.” However, the flat, pocket-sized shape of the original bottles strongly resembled a traditional hip flask. The name Flindari (Finnish slang for a liquor bottle or hip flask) was therefore adopted and became the name by which the series is known today.
This impressive set features a tall decanter with stopper and six matching glasses. Its richly textured surface catches the light beautifully, enhancing the depth and brilliance of the turquoise-blue glass. Both decorative and functional, it makes an eye-catching centerpiece while remaining perfect for serving and entertaining.
