Vintage Nuutajärvi Glass Leo Crystal Carafe

This crystal carafe is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, a beautifully preserved piece of Finnish crystal. Its clarity and craftsmanship make it a standout decorative and functional item.

The Leo crystal carafe was produced by Nuutajärvi Lasi, Finland’s oldest glassworks, founded in 1793. Nuutajärvi became internationally known for its high quality handblown glass and crystal, and many of Finland’s most respected designers worked there over the years.

Most examples of the Leo carafe were mouth-blown by skilled Nuutajärvi glassblowers, which gives each piece small individual characteristics tiny air bubbles or subtle variations in thickness that are natural signs of artisan production.
