A beautiful example of Finnish modernist lighting, this Artek JL341 pendant lamp combines a clean white aluminium shade with elegant polished brass reflectors. Designed by renowned Finnish architect and designer Juha Leiviskä, the JL341 is a distinctive piece of Scandinavian lighting design with a timeless architectural character.
The large, softly curved white shade creates a light and airy appearance, while the layered brass reflector construction underneath adds warmth, depth and a beautiful contrast. The sculptural form is particularly striking when viewed from below, making this lamp an attractive statement piece both switched on and off.
This is a genuine vintage/second-hand Artek lamp, not a new reproduction.
Condition
The lamp is in very good vintage condition overall, with some small signs of previous use consistent with its age. There are minor surface marks and signs of wear, particularly on some of the metal components and finish, but these do not detract from its overall appearance.
